In the fall of 1999 Tim and Mike Garceau branched off from their family extruded window manufacturing company to form Premium Laminations.
The Garceau family had been involved in window manufacturing since the late 70's when their father William Garceau, a home improvement contractor, could not find enough quality manufacturers to meet his growing building demands. William's company started to manufacture their own thermo panes while still purchasing the vinyl window extrusions. In an effort to control the quality of the vinyl lineal, William decided to add an extrusion division to his window manufacturing business.
When vinyl woodgrain windows hit the market, the Garceau’s decided to keep pace and add the woodgrain option to their product line. After dealing with the self-proclaimed "industry leaders" in profile wrapping, the Garceau’s found yet another industry that could use improvement. With their eye for detail and quality control, Tim and Mike Garceau decided their window manufacturing business needed a new division.
So in 1999, with the purchase of their first Duespohl laminating machine, Tim and Mike began Premium Laminations by servicing the needs of their own family company.
Equipped with the knowledge and understanding of the problems and concerns of window manufacturers, they now service profile lamination clients in the domestic and international markets. |
